Michael Gastauer is a German entrepreneur, venture capitalist and philanthropist with global business experience specializing in financial technology. He is an advocate of the FinTech revolution and is globally ranked amongst the 100 most Influential People in FinTech.

Gastauer founded the Gastauer Family Office(GFO), a single family office with over $500 million in assets under management. GFO manages the substantial asset structure of the Gastauer Family. Gastauer serves as Chairman of the Gastauer Family Office.[5][6] Gastauer Family Office has a venture capital arm investing $50 million in FinTech startup companies. He is the Founder and CEO of WB21, a Financial Institution headquartered in London, UK. WB21 is said to be the fastest growing FinTech company in Europe.

Gastauer sits on the board of the Gastauer Foundation, a philanthropic organization helping people in underbanked countries to overcome poverty by granting micro loans and offering financial inclusion.
